Delete your mendSoul account

You can delete your mendSoul account, and all data synced to it, at any time. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

In the app

Open mendSoul and go to the Care tab.
Tap the settings gear at the top right.
Scroll down and tap Delete account. (It only appears while you are signed in.)
Tap Delete to confirm.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the email address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my mendSoul account". We will delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by email. For your security, we can only act on requests sent from the account's own email address.

What is deleted

Your account: email address and password
Your profile: name, faith content choice and traditions
All synced mood entries, daily logs and wellbeing check-in results

Nothing is kept on our servers afterwards, and there is no backup copy we can restore.

What is not deleted

Data on your phone. Deleting your account does not erase your phone's copy. To remove it too, go to Care → settings → Erase everything on this device, or uninstall the app.
Your subscription. A Plus subscription is billed by Google Play and keeps renewing until you cancel it in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
Purchase records. Google Play and RevenueCat, our subscription provider, keep records of purchases for as long as the law requires for tax, refunds and fraud prevention. These records use a random ID, not your name.
